HP, Dell and IBM adopt the AMD Interlagos Chip
Top server makers Hewlett-Packard, Dell and IBM are refreshing server lines with the new AMD Opteron chips, which include between four and 16 cores. Code-named "Interlagos", the new chips are 25 percent to 30 percent faster than their predecessors, the 12-core Opteron 6100 chips.

Huawei buys out Symantec's share Huawei Symantec
Huawei Technologies will buy out the rest of a joint venture with Symantec for $530 million, the companies announced on Monday.
Huawei Symantec Technologies, is based in Hong Kong, was formed in 2008 to integrate Symantec storage and security software into appliances built with Huawei's telecommunications equipment expertise. Symantec owns 49 percent of Huawei Symantec Technologies, while Huawei holds 51 percent.
After the sale, which is expected to close in the first quarter of 2012, Symantec will receive royalties from Huawei for seven years for the technologies it contributes to the appliances.

Huawei Symantec products exists in the Libyan Market , I've seen it in LTT datacenter. It was installed and used by Huawei.

Open-source Toolkit Tracks Down Duqu Infections
The Duqu Detector Toolkit v1.01 looks for suspicious files left by Duqu, which has created a buzz in the security community given its stealthy nature and some characteristics it shares with another famous piece of malicious software, Stuxnet.
The Laboratory of Cryptography and System Security (CrySys), part of Budapest University of Technology and Economics based in Hungary, wrote in its release notes that the toolkit, which is composed of four components, looks for strange files that mark an infection.
CrySys said that the toolkit should detect a real active Duqu infection, but it is possible to get a false positive, so it cautioned that administrators will need to analyze the results.
